At Pryon, our team is built from the experts who shaped the language technologies behind household names like Alexa, Siri, and Watson. We are currently pouring that deep expertise into a cutting-edge knowledge management platform. By turning unstructured data into actionable insights, we help organizations work faster and more accurately than ever before. We are looking for someone who shares our passion for solving complex technical challenges to join us as we refine the very foundation of our product.
The opportunity
We are seeking a Principal Product Manager to take the lead on the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our core technical platform. You will serve as a senior individual contributor, acting as the bridge between our internal engineering needs and the requirements of our customers. Your work will directly influence how we scale, secure, and optimize our infrastructure. By partnering with our architects and engineering leaders, you will ensure our platform remains the bedrock that allows our entire product organization to ship reliable, high-quality software across cloud and on-premise environments.
A day in the life
- You will define and champion a clear product roadmap that prioritizes system reliability, developer productivity, and cost-efficiency.
- You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to navigate complex technical trade-offs and guide the development lifecycle from initial concept to final launch.
- You will analyze market trends and internal feedback to identify new opportunities for platform investment that deliver measurable value to the business.
Who you are
You are a seasoned professional with over seven years of experience managing technical products, such as developer tools, cloud services, or backend systems. You possess a strong technical background, ideally with a degree in Computer Science or Engineering, and you are comfortable diving into architecture and implementation details with our engineers. You have a deep understanding of modern infrastructure, including containerization with Kubernetes, cloud computing, and API design. Most importantly, you are a strategic thinker who can lead through influence, articulating complex ideas clearly to both technical and executive audiences. Fluency in English is required for this role.
Why you'll love it here
We believe in taking care of our team so you can focus on doing your best work. Our remote-first culture offers the flexibility you need to thrive, supported by a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
- 100% company-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance for you and your dependents.
- Life insurance and disability coverage.
- A 401k retirement plan.
- Unlimited vacation time to ensure you stay refreshed and inspired.
