Role at a glance
We are seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead our Shippo App team. This is a full-time, senior-level position that is remote-friendly, allowing you to work from anywhere in our supported regions. You will own the strategy and execution for our user-facing web experience, ensuring our merchants have the tools they need to fulfill orders efficiently and grow their businesses.
Your impact
- Develop and launch features that attract and retain small-to-medium business merchants, directly driving revenue growth and conversion.
- Lead end-to-end product discovery by partnering with designers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate customer needs into actionable product opportunities.
- Define clear qualitative and quantitative metrics to prioritize your roadmap, measure success, and ensure our product strategy aligns with our long-term business goals.
What you'll need
- At least 8 years of experience in product management, with a minimum of 5 years specifically focused on SaaS products.
- A user-obsessed mindset, with the ability to ground every scope decision and prioritization in real customer insights and data.
- Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to explain complex trade-offs to diverse stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
- Proven experience in product strategy, prototyping, and stakeholder management.
- Fluency in English.
- A flexible approach to work, with the ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and a strong preference for candidates with experience in e-commerce or shipping logistics.
Perks and compensation
The base salary range for this role is $160,000 to $200,000 annually, depending on your experience, skills, and business needs. In addition to your base pay, your total compensation package includes:
