The role
We are seeking a Principal Product Manager to join our Data Productivity Cloud team on a full-time basis. This is a senior-level position where you will lead the Data Ops and High Code aspects of our product. You will act as the primary advocate for the data engineer, ensuring their journey is cohesive while shaping our long-term strategic vision. This role is based in the United Kingdom and offers a hybrid work structure, with the option to work from our Manchester office or remotely.
Core responsibilities
- Develop and maintain product roadmaps that provide clear direction to our engineering teams regarding the problems we need to solve.
- Define key metrics and leading indicators to measure product effectiveness, driving the continuous evaluation and execution of these goals.
- Serve as the internal and external expert on our product, market landscape, and competition to evangelize our solutions and gather critical feedback from customers and sales teams.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Extensive experience as a Product Manager, specifically with a background in Data Engineering.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to translate complex customer problems into holistic, end-to-end solutions.
- A deep commitment to advocating for the Data Engineer persona.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to positively challenge ideas and drive alignment.
- Familiarity with Git and programming languages is considered a distinct advantage.
Compensation and benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of £80,000 to £120,000, with the final offer determined by your specific skills and experience. In addition to our collaborative and transparent culture, we provide the following perks:
