Role at a glance
We are seeking a Principal Product Manager to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. This is an executive-level position that requires a seasoned professional to lead one of our core product pillars. You will report directly to the VP of Product and work from anywhere, contributing to a global team that spans multiple countries and time zones.
Your impact
- Define and execute the product strategy and vision for our open source initiatives, positioning Mezmo as a thought leader in the observability space.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and design teams to ship high-quality features while effectively managing technical debt and product roadmaps.
- Partner with our go-to-market teams to establish success metrics, refine product messaging, and iterate on feedback loops to ensure our customers derive maximum value from their data.
What you'll need
You should be a strategic thinker with a deep technical background and a passion for building developer-focused tools. We are looking for candidates who possess the following:
- At least 7 years of experience in product management, specifically within high-growth, fast-paced environments.
- A minimum of 2 years of direct experience working with Open Telemetry.
- Proven success in shipping complex B2B SaaS products designed for developers and SREs.
- Strong proficiency in the software development lifecycle and product operations.
- Fluency in English and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, cross-functional remote culture.
Perks and compensation
The annual starting salary for this role is $240,000.00 - $270,000.00, plus equity. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package to support you and your family:
