We are a multi-channel personalization platform that empowers retailers to gain a competitive edge by unifying shopper and product data. Our technology enables brands to deliver one-to-one experiences at scale, and we are now looking for a Principal Product Designer to help shape the future of Alby, our multi-agent AI platform. This is a unique opportunity to join a small, high-impact team where you will define the standards for how brands interact with AI to drive online commerce.

Key outcomes

• Develop the UX strategy for our multi-agent AI system, ensuring our tools provide clarity and guidance for merchants, marketers, and shoppers.
• Lead the design process for complex projects, including agent playbooks, knowledge systems, and administrative tooling.
• Create scalable design systems that encompass everything from conversation design patterns to visual quality standards.
• Work alongside product, engineering, and go-to-market teams to turn sophisticated AI behaviors into intuitive, user-friendly experiences.
• Establish our internal design culture, including our processes and critique standards.
• Advocate for usability and visual excellence to elevate the quality of our product across the board.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of professional experience designing complex software, with a preference for backgrounds in AI, developer tools, or systems-heavy SaaS.
• The ability to navigate multiple levels of abstraction, ranging from high-level agent orchestration to specific UI patterns.
• A deep commitment to craft, with a focus on interaction clarity, visual hierarchy, and information design.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate effectively in an asynchronous environment.
• Fluency in Lean UX, user research, and iterative shipping processes.
• A mindset that values both the logic behind a system and the polish of the final user experience.

Compensation

The base salary range for this position is $130,000 to $190,000. This role is part of a broader compensation package that includes equity, development opportunities, and various perks. We offer remote work flexibility to support our team members wherever they are located.
