The role

We are looking for a Principal NetSuite Administrator to join our IT Application team on a full-time, hybrid basis in India. This is a senior-level position for a technology-savvy professional who can bridge the gap between our finance teams and our technical infrastructure. You will be responsible for guiding users, improving system efficiency, and ensuring our financial applications remain scalable, secure, and compliant as we continue to grow.

Core responsibilities

• Collaborate directly with our Finance and Accounting departments to ensure data integrity, maintain robust financial controls, and optimize reporting capabilities within NetSuite.
• Design, troubleshoot, and maintain complex workflows, scripts, and system integrations, while serving as the primary technical liaison for users, management, and third-party vendors.
• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of our financial systems, including user permissions, system audits, and the rigorous testing of semi-annual NetSuite and OpenAir releases before they reach production.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess a deep technical understanding of the NetSuite platform and a commitment to operational excellence. We require the following qualifications:

• At least 7 years of hands-on experience in NetSuite and OpenAir administration, support, and management.
• Current NetSuite certification and proven expertise in SuiteAnalytics, SuiteFlow, and SuiteBuilder.
• Proficiency in configuring advanced modules such as Advanced Accounting, Fixed Assets, Electronic Bill Payment, and Forecasting and Budgeting.
• Experience integrating NetSuite with third-party platforms including Salesforce, Adaptive, and Avalara.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps practices and experience working with NetSuite SuiteScript.
• A solid grasp of financial reporting requirements and familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical staff and senior leadership.
