Key outcomes
- Identify and eliminate cloud waste by locating underutilized resources across AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure.
- Optimize system performance and cost by addressing over-provisioned infrastructure.
- Improve financial visibility by implementing robust tagging and labeling strategies for shared and application-specific resources.
- Analyze the return on investment for various applications to guide strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to foster a culture of cost-awareness and implement FinOps best practices.
- Develop automated processes and monitoring tools to scale efficiency efforts.
- Track and report on cost-saving initiatives to provide clear, actionable insights to stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience in cloud architecture, specifically focusing on FinOps and cost optimization.
- Deep, hands-on technical expertise in AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure.
- A strong background in software architecture with a proven ability to design cost-effective solutions.
- Comprehensive knowledge of FinOps frameworks and standard cloud financial management practices.
- Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into tangible financial results.
- A proactive mindset and a genuine passion for improving cloud financial performance.
- Fluency in English.
Compensation
The base salary for this position is $178,000. We offer a comprehensive benefits package to all full-time employees, including:
