About the position:
We are currently seeking a Principal Enterprise Architecture Consultant who will play a critical role in shaping the technology strategies of our clients, ensuring they are innovative, sustainable, and aligned with business goals. This strategic position requires a combination of technical expertise, business acumen, and consulting skills to navigate complex challenges, drive innovation, and lead transformation initiatives.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Develop and articulate clear technology strategies for clients, identifying opportunities for innovation, efficiency, and business growthEvaluate, design, and recommend architectures for clients, ensuring scalability, performance, and alignment with business and product goalsWork closely with client stakeholders to understand their business challenges, objectives, and product vision, ensuring that our technology strategies and solutions are fully aligned and contribute to product successResearch and recommend the most suitable technologies and tools for client needs, considering factors such as cost-effectiveness, scalability, and alignment with product strategiesProactively identify potential technological and architectural risks in client environments, proposing robust mitigation strategies to ensure secure and reliable technology solutionsEstablish, promote, and ensure adherence to best practices and standards in technology design and implementation, with a strong emphasis on product-driven methodologiesStay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, sharing this knowledge with clients and internal teams to foster a culture of innovation and a product-driven mindsetBe a visible leader for the organization by writing blogs, leading speaking engagements and conference participationMaintain detailed documentation of architectures, assessments, and recommendations, providing clear, actionable, and product-focused reports to clientsWork proactively within the organization to strengthen and expand the solutions and enterprise architecture capabilities of the Product Engineering practice. This includes mentoring junior engineers, developing training programs in collaboration with Human Resources, sharing best practices, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellenceCompetencies we are looking for:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred 10+ years of extensive experience in the information technology domainA broad understanding of tech trends, strategic business practices, and proven experience with enterprise AWS architecturesProven experience working in diverse environments, including both on-premises and cloud platformsProven experience in Agile development methodologies and practicesDemonstrated leadership skills with a history of leading engineering teams and working closely with solutions architects to innovate and excelIn-depth knowledge in identifying potential risks, software requirements, and effective resource managementStrong communication and proven consulting skills, with the ability to convey complex strategies to various stakeholders with different levels of technical understandingAbility to travel occasionally for client meetings or speaking engagementsDemonstrated experience working in Capital MarketsPreferred:
Recent experience with risk management in Capital MarketsFamiliarity with financial regulations (e.g., SEC, FINRA) and how they impact system design and data handlingExperience working with the Snowflake data cloudWhat we offer:
