Role at a glance

We’re hiring a Principal Engineer on a full-time basis at the executive level. The role is fully remote and open to candidates located anywhere.

Your impact

• Lead system design and architecture decisions across our commerce platform, translating complex business needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Guide engineering teams on critical technical approaches, mentor senior and junior engineers on best practices, and partner with leadership to shape long-term technical strategy.
• Roll up your sleeves to tackle hard customer-facing issues, establish clear interfaces between teams, and drive operational and engineering excellence across the organization.

What you'll need

You bring more than ten years of experience building and scaling commerce software, including hands-on work with commerce components and SaaS products. You have a proven track record leading and mentoring engineers across an organization of fifty or more developers, and you’re comfortable influencing outcomes without formal authority.

Expertise in commerce technology and enterprise-scale systems is essential, along with deep familiarity with AWS services such as DynamoDB, RDS, ECS/EKS, and container-based architectures. Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills round out your profile. A background in AI or machine-learning models is a plus as we advance our AI vision.

English fluency is required, and a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field supports your technical foundation.
