About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Principal Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. In this executive-level role, you will define and lead the technical strategy for our digital auction website while creating robust, secure systems for our 1,200 internal auction employees. You will work within a highly collaborative, diverse environment of engineers to build distributed, scalable services that directly impact our company's success.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy complex back-end solutions using C#, dotNetCore, GraphQL, and RESTful Web API stacks.
- Manage cloud-based systems and automated release pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Execute data storage and persistence strategies using SQL and NoSQL technologies to ensure high availability and reliability.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- At least 10 years of professional software development experience with a history of increasing responsibility.
- Expert-level proficiency in C# and dotNetCore.
- Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL database management.
- Proven ability to perform complex debugging and troubleshooting for web services and APIs.
- Experience with automated release pipelines and Azure DevOps.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Location
This position is based in the United States and requires an on-site presence.
