The role

We are looking for a Principal Engineer to join our growing, cross-functional engineering team on a full-time basis. This is a lead-level position where you will play a pivotal role in shaping our technical strategy. You will work in a hybrid capacity, collaborating with our teams to deliver high-quality, pragmatic solutions that directly impact our users.

Core responsibilities

• Define and drive the architectural vision for our systems to ensure they remain scalable, performant, and maintainable as we grow.
• Lead complex, multi-squad projects while mentoring other engineers to help them develop their technical and leadership capabilities.
• Contribute to our overall technical roadmap by researching new tools and aligning our technology stack with our long-term business goals.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in software development and a passion for continuous learning. We value the following qualifications:

• Extensive experience with object-oriented or functional programming.
• High proficiency in TypeScript and React for front-end development.
• Significant server-side experience using Kotlin.
• Experience building mobile applications with Flutter and Dart.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database management.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to articulate complex technical ideas clearly while remaining open to the perspectives of others.

Compensation and benefits
