Our founder, William Tunstall-Pedoe, is widely recognized for his pivotal role in developing Alexa after his first company was acquired by Amazon. We are currently developing a revolutionary AI platform and are looking for a highly skilled Principal Engineer to help us solve complex technical challenges. This role offers you the chance to shape our engineering culture and technical direction as an individual contributor.

• Drive technical innovation and provide clarity on complex architectural decisions across the organization.
• Establish and maintain high engineering standards to ensure our systems are robust and scalable.

• Influence our long-term technology strategy by solving significant and challenging technical problems.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in software engineering, including exceptional coding skills and a background in high-growth startup environments.
• At least five years of experience leading technical projects as an individual contributor, specifically those with mission-critical impact.
• A proven track record of designing and building systems that are either massively scalable or capable of becoming so.
• Expertise in agile software development best practices and a deep understanding of system architecture.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• A proactive mindset with the desire to learn new technologies quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• A demonstrated ability to mentor others and foster a culture of technical excellence.
