Role at a glance

We are hiring a Principal Engineer on a full-time basis at the executive level. The position is fully remote and open to candidates located anywhere.

Your impact

• Translate the latest advances in AI and machine learning into a clear technical vision that drives Domino’s product strategy and keeps us ahead of the competition.
• Partner with product leads to shape the roadmap, proposing new capabilities that solve real customer problems in regulated, complex environments.
• Guide engineering teams through architectural decisions, code reviews, and delivery milestones while mentoring talent and ensuring every release meets the highest standards of quality and security.

What you'll need

Extensive experience leading the architecture of large-scale, successful products gives you the perspective to set multi-year technical direction. Deep fluency in AI/ML ecosystems, combined with hands-on work in highly regulated industries, lets you balance innovation and compliance. You have shipped complex offerings to both cloud and on-premise environments, and you bring strong computer-science and data-science foundations. Proven ability to steer roadmaps, manage cross-team dependencies, and communicate clearly with engineers, data scientists, and C-level stakeholders is essential. Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes, cloud-native patterns, AWS, Azure, and GCP, plus comfort with Domain-Driven Design and polyglot development in Java, Scala, or Go, rounds out the profile. A curious mindset and the drive to learn quickly keep you effective in our fast-moving space.

Perks and compensation

The annual US base salary range for this role is $286,000–$347,000. In addition we offer remote work flexibility, a 401(k) plan, medical, dental, and vision insurance, plus equity compensation.
