Role at a glance

We are seeking a Principal Engineer to join us in a full-time, executive-level capacity. This is a hybrid role based in the United States, where you will serve as the most senior technical resource across our various Scrum teams.

Your impact

• Lead the technical design, planning, and implementation of our cloud, data, and service architectures.
• Partner with product, design, and analytics teams to define requirements and build sophisticated software systems.
• Mentor fellow engineers and act as a technical consultant to ensure our engineering efforts remain high-quality and forward-thinking.

What you'll need

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in software engineering and a passion for technical leadership. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field, plus at least 8 years of engineering experience with 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proficiency in backend development using languages such as Python, Java, Golang, or Ruby.
• Extensive experience building cloud-native, containerized applications using Kubernetes on platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong expertise in managing SQL and NoSQL data stores.
• Proven ability to communicate complex technical strategies to senior management and mentor junior team members.
• A track record of influencing engineering best practices and solving complex problems through collaboration.

We offer a base salary range of $160,000 to $240,000, along with equity that reflects your experience and our company stage. Our benefits package includes:
