Principal Engineer, Data Integration at Eikon Therapeutics

We are looking for a Principal Engineer, Data Integration to join our multi-disciplinary team and help us build systems that support both internal drug discovery and our customer-facing product lines.

What you'll be doing

• You will lead the effort to organize, integrate, and query our massive, heterogeneous data stores while defining the architectural vision for our engineering systems.
• You will collaborate with senior engineers across our IT and research departments to design robust, maintainable solutions that enable our drug discovery tools.
• You will translate complex business needs into high-level roadmaps, ensuring our data deliverables align with user acceptance tests and long-term project goals.

What you'll bring

To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong background in software engineering and a passion for architectural design. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree with 15 years of experience, a Master's degree with 12 years of experience, or a PhD with 8 years of experience in Computer Science or a related field.
• Expertise in multiple programming languages, including Python, C++, JavaScript, Java, and C#.
• A proven track record in system architecture, including API and database design, cloud services, and DevOps practices.
• Excellent communication skills, allowing you to bridge the gap between technical teams and scientific users.
• Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems or large-scale distributed data stores is considered a significant advantage.

What you'll get
