Role at a glance

We are looking for a Principal Engineer to join our Content Platform team. This is a full-time, executive-level position based in the United States. We embrace a hybrid work model, allowing you to balance collaborative office time with the flexibility you need to do your best work.

Your impact

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of services within our Content Platform to ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define engineering best practices, influence technical strategy, and mentor other engineers to elevate the overall quality of our codebase.
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies while ensuring our platform remains secure, compliant, and capable of supporting future growth.

What you'll need

To be successful in this role, you should be a self-driven leader with a passion for solving complex problems. We are looking for someone who brings the following expertise:

• At least 10 years of professional software development experience, including 4 years in a Principal or Architect role for enterprise-level applications.
• Deep proficiency in Java, with at least 6 years of hands-on development experience.
• Strong experience with JavaScript and modern frameworks like Vue, React, or Angular.
• Expertise in cloud-based architecture, specifically with AWS.
• Solid background in database technologies, including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and DynamoDB.
• Experience with Kafka, containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes, and building API-first products.
• An excellent command of the English language for clear communication and collaboration.
