Key outcomes
- Design and evolve robust cloud platforms with a primary focus on Azure services.
- Lead complex migrations from on-premises environments to the cloud, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability.
- Develop and manage automated deployment pipelines and infrastructure provisioning solutions.
- Oversee platform security testing to ensure all systems meet rigorous company-wide compliance standards.
- Collaborate closely with product, architecture, and software engineering teams to deliver secure, cost-effective SaaS products.
- Conduct research in platform engineering and security to introduce innovative operational solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement in operational processes to support the success of our cloud-native initiatives.
- Align your technical contributions with company-wide strategic goals and OKRs.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of professional experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering.
- Strong programming background using modern backend languages such as Python or Node.js.
- Proven track record of building and deploying production-grade web applications.
- Extensive expertise in configuring and maintaining large-scale Kubernetes environments, including AKS and bare metal setups.
- In-depth knowledge of Azure infrastructure, services, and the Azure DevOps ecosystem.
- Hands-on experience developing Infrastructure as Code, specifically using Terraform.
- Solid understanding of application and infrastructure security principles.
- Practical experience managing both SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, at a minimum B2 level.
- Current authorization to work within the EU.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience creating internal developer platforms and self-service tooling.
- Multi-cloud expertise, particularly with AWS.
- Background in observability, monitoring solutions, and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with GitOps principles, event-driven architectures, and AI integration patterns.
- Knowledge of FinOps practices for cost optimization and experience with chaos engineering or DevSecOps.
- Active contributions to open-source projects.
