We are looking for a highly skilled Principal Data Engineer to join our team as an independent contractor. At Seamless.AI, we have been providing the world's best sales leads since 2015. Our platform serves as the first real-time B2B search engine, utilizing artificial intelligence to help sales teams boost revenue and capture their total addressable market. As a recognized leader in the industry, we have been featured as one of Ohio’s fastest-growing companies and consistently rank among the top software products on platforms like G2 and LinkedIn. In this remote, lead-level role, you will work autonomously to design and deliver high-quality data solutions using Python, Spark, and AWS Glue.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable ETL pipelines that efficiently ingest and transform data from diverse sources into our ecosystem.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data requirements and implement robust strategies for integration and acquisition.
- Optimize ETL performance for large datasets while applying advanced techniques for data matching, deduplication, and aggregation to ensure high data quality.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 7 years of experience in data engineering with a strong focus on ETL processes and data integration.
- Proven expertise in Python, SQL, Spark, and AWS Glue.
- A solid foundation in data modeling, data warehousing, and distributed computing frameworks.
- Advanced proficiency in both English and Spanish to facilitate communication with our international team and client base.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently as a self-employed professional.
