Role at a glance

We are seeking an experienced Principal Data Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an executive-level position that can be performed remotely from anywhere in the United States, provided you are authorized to work in the country.

Your impact

• Lead the architectural design and implementation of cutting-edge data processing platforms and enterprise-wide solutions.
• Develop and scale robust AI and ML platforms to support our evolving healthcare use cases.
• Mentor our data engineering team while collaborating with product, clinical, and design leadership to drive operational excellence.

What you'll need

To be successful in this role, you should possess a deep technical background and a passion for building scalable systems. We are looking for candidates who demonstrate the following:

• Extensive experience in data engineering, specifically in building and scaling architectures within complex environments.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, relational databases, and big data tools such as Spark and Kafka.
• Strong expertise in cloud-based data warehousing and AWS services.
• A high level of comfort with Python and modern data-as-a-service platforms.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead cross-functional projects effectively.
• Fluency in English.

Perks and compensation
