The opportunity
We are looking for a Principal Data Analyst to join our executive-level team. In this role, you will be the bridge between our business strategy and our technical execution. You will report directly to our CTO or Senior Director of Engineering, working across our entire product suite to tackle our most complex challenges. This is a high-impact position where you will lead our engineering and product teams by translating high-level business goals into actionable data strategies.
A day in the life
- You will provide ongoing technical problem-solving and deep data analysis to ensure our business needs are met with precision.
- You will partner with general managers to build and refine data roadmaps, including the development of proof-of-concepts and the identification of operational improvements.
- You will spend a significant portion of your time hands-on with data, utilizing your expertise in SQL, Python, and data visualization to drive our technical solutions forward.
Who you are
You are a seasoned professional with at least 10 years of experience in data analysis and a proven track record of delivering results. You hold an advanced degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or a related field. You possess exceptional problem-solving abilities and the talent to explain complex technical concepts to any audience. We are looking for someone who is fluent in English and comfortable working within a remote environment. While not required, experience with cloud platforms like GCP or AWS, as well as containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes, will be considered a strong asset.
Why you'll love it here
We offer a salary of $165,000 for this full-time role. We are deeply committed to your well-being and professional growth, providing a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
- Full medical, dental, and vision insurance with 100% of premiums covered for you.
- Unlimited vacation and paid time off, including 14 company holidays and Summer Fridays.
- A 401k plan with a 100% match up to 4% and immediate vesting.
- Professional development opportunities and a supportive work-life balance culture.
- Financial support for your home office, including a $1,000 desk setup subsidy and a $100 monthly stipend for wifi and phone expenses.
