We are looking for a Principal Cloud Engineer to join our team in a full-time, hybrid capacity within the United States. In this role, you will serve as a key architect for our infrastructure, focusing on the design and maintenance of the systems that power our services. You will work closely with our development teams to improve application reliability and performance through advanced automation and proactive monitoring, ensuring our platforms remain scalable and highly available.

Responsibilities

Design and build robust infrastructure solutions that prioritize long-term scalability, reliability, and high performance.
Create and manage infrastructure as code to streamline the provisioning, configuration, and scaling of our core components.
Take the lead on incident response efforts, conducting thorough post-incident reviews to identify root causes and implement lasting preventive measures.

Requirements

We are seeking a senior-level professional who brings a strong background in infrastructure engineering and DevOps. You should have a solid foundation in computer science or a related field, supported by a Bachelor's or Master's degree. Your technical toolkit must include:

Extensive experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Pulumi, Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
Deep proficiency with major cloud providers, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, alongside experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Strong programming or scripting capabilities in languages such as Python, Go, or Shell.
A proven track record of building and scaling large, fault-tolerant distributed systems.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset, as you will be working directly with our co-founders to shape our technical direction.

What we offer
