We are a multi-channel personalization platform that helps brands like The North Face, Tommy Hilfiger, and Express drive revenue by unifying shopper and product data. As we continue to scale our impact, we are looking for a Principal Analytics Engineer to join our DataOps team. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our data infrastructure, influencing high-level strategy, and ensuring our data products remain at the cutting edge of the retail industry.
What you'll be doing
- You will architect and develop complex data models and ETL/ELT pipelines, ensuring they are scalable, cost-effective, and capable of supporting our core revenue-generating products.
- You will define our long-term data strategy while leading multi-team initiatives that elevate our data maturity and technical standards across the organization.
- You will mentor a team of high-performing engineers, conducting code reviews and workshops to foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous growth.
What you'll bring
To succeed in this role, you should be a seasoned technical leader with a passion for building robust data systems. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience as a technical lead for a high-performing data team.
- Over 5 years of experience architecting and developing cloud data warehouses, with at least 3 years of hands-on expertise using dbt.
- Advanced proficiency in Python for data workflows and automation, alongside expert-level SQL skills.
- A proven track record of scaling modern data stacks while managing performance and infrastructure costs.
- Working knowledge of adjacent technologies such as Terraform, Airflow, and NoSQL databases.
- Fluency in English to collaborate effectively across our global teams.
What you'll get
