The role

We are looking for a Principal AI Solutions Software Engineer to join our AI Systems team on a full-time, on-site basis in the United States. This is a senior-level position that offers a unique chance to work end-to-end with our cross-functional hardware, software, and machine learning teams. You will play a vital role in turning cutting-edge research into practical, high-performance solutions that empower our customers across various industries.

Core responsibilities

• Develop robust and scalable AI solutions by working closely with both internal engineering teams and external users to address specific customer needs.
• Integrate the latest advancements in model architecture, performance optimization, and data curation from the broader research community into our technical stack.
• Design end-to-end machine learning applications that facilitate efficient model training, fine-tuning, and high-throughput, low-latency inference for large-scale deployments.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong foundation in software engineering and machine learning. We require the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or Statistics.
• At least 5 years of industry experience, with at least 3 years focused on deep learning algorithm development, compilers, or software-hardware co-design.
• Proficiency in Python or C++, along with deep knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Hands-on experience with major ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Jax.
• Practical experience with LLM applications, multimodal models, and deploying training pipelines at scale using tools like vLLM, Megatron, or DeepSeed.

Compensation and benefits

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $165,000 to $190,000, depending on your specific experience, qualifications, and location. In addition to base pay, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including:
