What is this role?
We are looking for a Principal AI Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a lead-level position based in India, and you will work in a hybrid capacity. You will be at the forefront of medical device software development, helping us build the next generation of clinical decision-making tools.
What will you do?
- Independently conceive, develop, and implement complex algorithms to analyze medical datasets, such as CT, MR, Ultrasound, and 3D rotational angiography, to extract critical features and attributes.
- Design and build machine learning, artificial intelligence, and deep learning models to process medical imaging data, metaheaders, and clinical records.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members, including creating educational materials and reviewing scientific documentation to ensure our algorithmic methods meet rigorous standards.
What makes you a great fit?
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in engineering and a deep understanding of algorithm development. We are looking for candidates who possess the following:
- A Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Bioengineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- A total of 17 or more years of professional experience, with at least 6 years specifically focused on algorithm development.
- Proficiency in English to collaborate effectively with our global teams.
- A self-sufficient mindset, capable of working without daily supervision to deliver high-quality, validated software solutions.
