About the Role
We are seeking a Principal AI Engineer for a full-time, remote position. In this leadership role, you will define our technical strategy for integrating advanced AI and agentic systems into our loan and lease servicing platform. You will work alongside our product and engineering teams to build highly automated, scalable solutions that keep us at the forefront of the industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and build scalable AI tools, including multi-agent systems and Large Language Models, to automate complex workflows and improve decision-making.
- Develop and deploy retrieval-augmented generation systems and knowledge management frameworks to provide deep, AI-driven business insights.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to our engineering teams, fostering a culture of excellence while ensuring our AI implementations remain secure and compliant with industry standards.
Requirements
We are looking for a seasoned professional who brings a blend of deep technical expertise and strategic thinking to our team. Your background should include:
- At least 10 years of experience in software engineering, with a minimum of 2 years specifically focused on AI, machine learning, or LLMs.
- Expert-level proficiency in Python and TypeScript, with a strong foundation in building backend systems.
- Significant hands-on experience with LLM APIs, agent frameworks, and platforms like OpenAI, LangChain, or Hugging Face.
- A solid understanding of MLOps, CI/CD pipelines for AI, and the use of vector databases for semantic search.
- Proven ability to lead AI strategy, mentor team members, and design robust, distributed system architectures.
Location
