What you'll be doing
- You will lead the integration of powertrain systems, which includes the commissioning, bring-up, and debugging of various actuators and sensors.
- You will build and troubleshoot electromechanical systems for our electric trailer platform, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- You will collaborate closely with our hardware and firmware teams to integrate system components, analyze log data, and resolve complex platform-level issues.
What you'll bring
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in engineering and a passion for solving difficult technical problems. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 5 years of experience within the automotive industry or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python and C++ programming.
- A solid understanding of automotive electrical systems, communication protocols like CAN and LIN, and the ability to use diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
- Expertise in high-voltage powertrain architectures and safety standards.
- The ability to read and interpret complex wire harness and schematic documents.
- Fluency in English to facilitate clear communication across our teams and with external partners.
- The flexibility to travel domestically or internationally up to 30 percent of the time to support testing and integration activities.
What you'll get
