What is this role?
We are looking for a Policy & Market Intelligence Intern to join our team for a 10-week summer program. This is a senior-level internship designed to provide deep exposure to the renewable energy sector. You will operate in a remote capacity, primarily supporting our Commercial Team as you help us refine our greenfield strategy and project commercialization efforts. This full-time position runs from June 3, 2024, through August 9, 2024.
What will you do?
- Identify, review, and summarize Integrated Resource Plans to highlight key opportunities for our projects.
- Monitor and track relevant legislative updates and regulatory dockets to keep our team informed.
- Organize and scrape power market supply and demand data while developing automated processes to streamline our internal market intelligence gathering.
What makes you a great fit?
To succeed in this role, you should be a sophomore or higher pursuing a degree in economics, business, political science, engineering, or a related field. We value candidates who are self-motivated and capable of working with minimal direction in a fast-paced environment. You should possess strong analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail. While not strictly required, coding skills are highly preferred to assist with our automation goals. You must be comfortable communicating in English and ready to collaborate effectively within a remote team structure.
