Podcast Producer at Oxygen Conservation

At Oxygen Conservation, we are on a mission to scale conservation by acquiring land to deliver real environmental and social impact. Since our founding in 2021 by the Oxygen House Group and Dr. Rich Stockdale, we have grown rapidly. We now manage a portfolio of over 50,000 acres dedicated to restoring nature, with an ambitious goal to reach 250,000 acres by 2030. We are looking for a creative storyteller to help us amplify our voice through our flagship podcast, Second Nature.

The opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Podcast Producer to take full ownership of the Second Nature podcast. This is a full-time, remote role where you will lead the end-to-end production, promotion, and performance of our show. You will report to our Content Producer and work closely with the wider marketing team to ensure our storytelling aligns with our strategic goals. This is a chance to experiment with your creative ideas, shape the narrative of one of the UK’s most credible conservation podcasts, and influence the sector by highlighting the role finance plays in restoring our planet.

A day in the life

• You will manage the entire production lifecycle, which includes editing weekly episodes, writing accompanying content, and handling the logistics for recordings, such as venue bookings and guest coordination.
• You will develop and execute a social media strategy for platforms like LinkedIn and Instagram, creating engaging promotional clips to grow our audience and reach.
• You will analyze performance metrics to inform future content decisions, ensuring that every episode resonates with our listeners and supports our mission.

Who you are

You are a creative and organized professional with a passion for conservation and nature recovery. You have a strong editorial voice and the technical skills to produce high-quality audio and video content. We value your ability to communicate effectively with senior guests and your knack for managing multiple projects under tight deadlines. You are comfortable working independently but thrive in a collaborative team environment. Ideally, you have experience with tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Audition, or Descript to craft compelling short-form content. You are fluent in English and ready to bring your unique perspective to our entrepreneurial team.
