About the team
Mexico Core is one of Mexico’s three business units alongside Marketing & Growth and Operations. Mexico Core consists of 4 squads along with cross-squad members. Our mission is to fight complexity to empower Mexicans to take control of their financial lives. We are responsible for leading Mexico’s product vision and strategy, including a) setting customer segment priorities and defining the plan to win (what problems to solve and how to do so in a differentiated way), b) delivering specific parts of the strategy (customer lifecycle optimization, multi-product rewards/loyalty, regulatory agenda, new product launches) and c) driving other teams in Mexico and globally to execute the overall vision.
About the role
The PM Director will lead the Core Segments team responsible for Segment Strategy & Local Product Configuration. This role would also act as the leader of the Product function across Mexico and will be responsible for the product strategy in Mexico: prioritization of target customer segments, and owning the product strategy and plan to win for each customer segment. Success will require both sharp execution in owned product domains and effective influence and partnership with global teams to execute the product strategy within global roadmaps.

Qualifications
Professional Experience & Education:
- High Education in Business & Management, Engineering & Technology, Design & User Experience, Finance or a related field.
- Experience leading a multi-year technical roadmap Including engineers, product and designers.
- Strong product management background, experience with diverse B2C products.
- Financial services experience (highly preferred).
- Willing to accept legal and regulatory responsibilities.
Competences & Attributes:
- Mexico experience and residence.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is mandatory; Portuguese is a plus.
- Proven leadership track record, successfully leading and scaling product teams with adaptability to evolving objectives and business needs.
- Experience leading large-scale product teams in high-growth, digital-first companies.
- Exceptional at connecting with teams, challenging ideas, and driving collaboration across local, senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
