Our mission is to ensure that residents have access to high-quality housing, and we are looking for a dedicated individual to help us maintain these essential living spaces.

The opportunity

We are looking for a Plumber to join our team on a full-time, temporary ongoing basis. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to contribute to the upkeep of public sector buildings. You will be working 37 hours per week, and we are prepared to offer an immediate start for the right candidate. This is an excellent chance to build your experience within the public sector while working with a supportive recruitment partner.

A day in the life

• You will handle first and second fix plumbing tasks for a variety of major and minor construction and refurbishment projects.
• Your work will involve repairing, renewing, and maintaining bathroom suites, including all necessary pipework.
• You will perform essential maintenance on housing stock, which includes installing and servicing radiators, immersion heaters, shower units, tanks, and cylinders.

Who you are

You are a skilled professional who takes pride in your craftsmanship and reliability. To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria:

• You have completed a time-served or skills-based apprenticeship.
• You possess at least one year of post-apprenticeship experience.
• You hold a full, current driving licence or have access to reliable transport to travel between sites.
• You are fluent in English.

While not required, it is a bonus if you have three years of post-apprenticeship experience or previous work in response maintenance.
