We are looking for a talented Platform Operations Engineer to join our growing team and help us continue to scale our impact.
What you'll be doing
- You will manage and optimize our cloud infrastructure by embedding Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD best practices to support our engineering teams.
- You will take ownership of our observability strategy by improving application monitoring, logging, and alerting, while promoting the use of SLOs and SLIs.
- You will advocate for automation to reduce repetitive tasks and guide other team members in building efficient, sustainable deployment workflows.
What you'll bring
We are looking for a senior-level engineer who is passionate about building robust systems and fostering a collaborative culture. You should have experience with the following:
- Strong proficiency in scripting and programming using Python or Bash for automation purposes.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation.
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms, specifically AWS or Google Cloud.
- Experience managing containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to mentor others and contribute to a positive, inclusive team environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate your ideas clearly while remaining open to the perspectives of others.
What you'll get
The salary for this position is between £54,000 and £61,000 per year, depending on your experience. You will also enjoy the following benefits:
