What you bring

We are seeking a mid-level Platform Migration Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis in India. You will play a key role in designing and implementing a robust migration tool that ensures seamless data transfer across various systems. Your work will involve utilizing your expertise in Python, Java, Groovy, and JavaScript to build scalable solutions. Your core responsibilities will include the following:

• Designing and developing a reliable migration tool that leverages RESTful APIs to facilitate smooth data transitions.
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to gather technical requirements and translate them into efficient, maintainable code.
• Performing rigorous testing and validation to guarantee total data integrity and accuracy throughout the migration process.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. We are looking for someone with 3 to 5 years of experience in software development, specifically with a focus on building migration tools or similar complex applications. You must have a strong technical foundation in Python, Java, Groovy, or JavaScript, along with extensive experience working with RESTful APIs and third-party system integrations. Familiarity with CPQ systems and their specific data structures is essential. Beyond your technical skills, we value candidates who possess excellent problem-solving abilities, a sharp eye for detail, and the capacity to work independently. Strong communication skills are vital, and any prior experience with UI/UX design is considered a valuable advantage.
