About the Role
We are searching for a Platform Engineering Manager to join our team in a full-time capacity. In this role, you will lead our efforts to build and maintain the foundational components of our platform. You will guide a talented group of engineers, shape our technical architecture, and ensure our systems remain robust as we continue to expand our reach.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute a scalable technical roadmap that focuses on the core platform components necessary for our future growth.
- Mentor your team members to foster a culture of technical excellence, consistent feedback, and professional development.
- Take ownership of hiring and recruitment to attract top-tier engineering talent while maintaining high team productivity and cohesion.
Requirements
To be successful in this position, you should have a strong background in technical leadership and infrastructure management. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- Proven experience leading engineering teams, ideally with 3 to 7 direct reports.
- Deep technical expertise in backend engineering, specifically with Node.js and AWS.
- A professional background as a Staff+ engineer or equivalent leadership experience.
- The ability to balance immediate project delivery with long-term strategic goals and business needs.
- Strong communication skills to align team priorities and collaborate effectively across different departments.
Location
This position is fully remote and can be performed from anywhere.
