Role at a glance
We are seeking a Platform Engineering Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a managerial role that focuses on overseeing our DevOps and SRE operations. You can perform this work in a hybrid capacity or remotely from Finland, Switzerland, Poland, the UK, Italy, France, Germany, or Spain.
Your impact
- Lead and mentor a talented group of DevOps specialists and Site Reliability Engineers to ensure high performance and system reliability.
- Take ownership of the strategic roadmap, including quarterly planning, goal setting, and prioritizing technical initiatives.
- Partner with product development teams to identify their requirements and build platform features that enhance our overall infrastructure.
What you'll need
- At least 5 years of experience managing teams and 3 years of hands-on software development experience.
- Proven expertise in managing and optimizing engineering platforms within a product-oriented environment.
- Strong technical proficiency with modern tools and cloud environments, specifically AWS, GCP, and GitLab.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead distributed teams effectively.
- A commitment to craftsmanship and a proactive approach to staying current with emerging technology trends.
- Fluency in English.
