Role at a glance

We are seeking a Platform Engineering Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a managerial role that focuses on overseeing our DevOps and SRE operations. You can perform this work in a hybrid capacity or remotely from Finland, Switzerland, Poland, the UK, Italy, France, Germany, or Spain.

Your impact

Lead and mentor a talented group of DevOps specialists and Site Reliability Engineers to ensure high performance and system reliability.
Take ownership of the strategic roadmap, including quarterly planning, goal setting, and prioritizing technical initiatives.
Partner with product development teams to identify their requirements and build platform features that enhance our overall infrastructure.

What you'll need

At least 5 years of experience managing teams and 3 years of hands-on software development experience.
Proven expertise in managing and optimizing engineering platforms within a product-oriented environment.
Strong technical proficiency with modern tools and cloud environments, specifically AWS, GCP, and GitLab.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead distributed teams effectively.
A commitment to craftsmanship and a proactive approach to staying current with emerging technology trends.
Fluency in English.
