As we continue to scale our operations, we are looking for a Platform Engineering Manager to lead our DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering efforts. This is a critical role that supports our entire engineering organization by ensuring our cloud-based services and continuous integration and delivery pipelines remain robust, secure, and highly scalable. You will have the opportunity to influence our technological direction while working in a flexible, hybrid, or remote environment across Finland, Switzerland, Poland, the UK, Italy, France, Germany, or Spain.

Key outcomes

• Provide leadership and mentorship to our team of DevOps specialists and Site Reliability Engineers.
• Take ownership of roadmap development, including quarterly and annual planning, goal setting, and task prioritization.
• Partner with product development teams to identify their requirements and translate those needs into effective platform features.
• Manage the end-to-end operation of our mission-critical cloud and build infrastructure.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a management role, alongside at least 3 years of hands-on software development experience.
• Proven success in managing and optimizing engineering platforms within a product-oriented environment, specifically using AWS, GCP, and GitLab.
• Demonstrated experience leading distributed teams with a focus on clear and effective communication.
• Strong technical breadth that allows you to engage meaningfully with engineers across all levels of the organization.
• A commitment to craftsmanship, quality, and staying current with emerging technology trends that can accelerate our development cycles.
• Fluency in English.
