The opportunity

We are seeking a Platform Engineering Manager to lead our DevOps and SRE operations. This role is the backbone of our engineering organization, as you will ensure that our entire suite of products runs reliably, securely, and efficiently. You will guide a talented team of engineers while overseeing our cloud services and continuous integration pipelines. By optimizing our operational costs and driving technical excellence, you will play a key role in the continued growth of our company.

A day in the life

• You will lead and mentor a team of DevOps specialists and Site Reliability Engineers, fostering a culture of high performance and technical craftsmanship.
• You will manage the end-to-end operation of our mission-critical cloud and build infrastructure, ensuring it remains scalable and robust.
• You will collaborate with product development teams to understand their requirements and translate those needs into innovative platform features, while also managing roadmaps and quarterly planning.

Who you are

You are a seasoned leader with a passion for building high-quality engineering platforms. You bring a deep understanding of DevOps and SRE principles and have a proven track record of managing distributed teams. Your background includes:

• At least 5 years of experience managing engineering teams and 3 years of software development experience.
• Hands-on experience with modern technologies such as AWS, GCP, and GitLab.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with engineers at all levels of the organization.
• A commitment to staying current with technology trends that can accelerate our development cycles.
• Fluency in English.

This position is available for candidates based in Finland, Switzerland, Poland, the UK, Italy, France, Germany, or Spain.
