We are Workshop, a fast-growing, venture-backed startup based in Omaha, Nebraska, dedicated to helping internal communications teams create and measure employee-centric campaigns. We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join our team and help us scale the infrastructure that powers millions of customer emails.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain robust monitoring systems to proactively detect and prevent service incidents.
- Scale our infrastructure to support large-scale email delivery while optimizing for cost and performance.
- Collaborate with our product engineering team to manage database performance and ensure reliable feature delivery.
- Participate in our on-call rotation to maintain system stability.
Must-haves
- Professional experience managing production services on cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
- Strong background in implementing logging and monitoring solutions using tools such as Datadog, statsd, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- A proactive, pragmatic approach to automating systems and delivering continuous value.
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.
- Fluency in English.
Nice-to-haves
- Hands-on experience managing PostgreSQL, Redis, and Elasticsearch.
