As we aim for our next milestone of 100 million dollars in revenue, we are seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to join our global, remote-first team. Key outcomes
- Design, implement, and maintain robust cloud infrastructure within the Azure ecosystem.
- Develop and refine our Kubernetes-based platform, utilizing tools such as Helm, Rancher, and ArgoCD.
- Optimize our CI/CD pipelines in GitLab to facilitate efficient and reliable software delivery.
- Oversee monitoring and observability by managing tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger, Loki, and OpenTelemetry.
- Uphold platform security by implementing best practices and managing tools such as Keycloak, Azure KeyVault, and ZeroSSL.
- Participate in our on-call rotation to ensure platform stability and effective incident response via PagerDuty.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate technical requirements into scalable platform solutions.
- Maintain thorough documentation regarding our architecture, operational processes, and procedures.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience managing Azure compute, storage, networking, and security.
- Extensive proficiency with Kubernetes, including cluster management, resource optimization, and deployment strategies.
- Strong technical skills in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
- Proven ability to architect and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or similar technologies.
- Experience with containerization using Docker.
- Practical knowledge of monitoring, observability, and cloud security best practices.
- Professional proficiency in English at a C1 level, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Previous experience working in an agency environment with external clients.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with Rancher, ArgoCD, Keycloak, and Azure KeyVault.
- Familiarity with service mesh technologies such as Istio.
- Background in the healthcare or medical industry, including familiarity with HIPAA compliance.
- A history of contributions to open-source projects.
