The opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join our team on a full-time, hybrid basis in Germany. In this role, you will be a key architect in building and refining our cloud infrastructure. You will help us bridge the gap between complex system requirements and reliable, scalable solutions. By focusing on automation and high-performance cloud environments, you will ensure that our development teams have the tools they need to deliver secure, innovative payment services to our customers.

A day in the life

• You will design, build, and continuously improve our cloud platform to support our growing microservices architecture.
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system architectures and select the most effective technologies for our specific challenges.
• You will develop and automate our internal self-service platform, while maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast and reliable service deployment.

Who you are

You are a Senior professional who thrives in a cloud-native environment. You possess a strong technical background and are comfortable working in both English and German.

• You have proven experience working with cloud platforms, with a strong preference for Google Cloud Platform and Google Kubernetes Engine.
• You are proficient in Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD practices, specifically using Terraform and Git.
• You have a solid grasp of container orchestration for microservices and a deep understanding of networking, including HTTP, DNS, and API Gateways.
