Key outcomes
- Design, build, and maintain the core platform infrastructure that empowers our engineering teams to deliver high-quality software at scale.
- Develop and manage automation, tools, and infrastructure to support continuous delivery and robust observability.
- Collaborate closely with our operations, security, and development teams to ensure our platform remains secure, scalable, and highly reliable.
- Improve resource utilization and streamline user workflows across our product development organization.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or a closely related discipline.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Go or Python.
- Demonstrated expertise in containerization and orchestration using tools like Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience managing infrastructure as code with Terraform and GitOps methodologies.
- Familiarity with distributed systems, database technologies like PostgreSQL, and CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex problems and communicate effectively within a collaborative team environment.
- A history of contributing to open-source projects is highly valued.
Preferred qualifications
- Practical experience with monitoring and logging solutions, specifically Prometheus.
- Knowledge of service mesh technologies and various distributed systems like Kafka.
