The opportunity

As a Platform Engineer, you will serve as a trusted partner to our research and software engineering teams. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting the high-performance systems that power our entire operation. Whether you are working on HPC infrastructure, container orchestration, or cloud-based services, your work will have a direct impact on our success. You will have the autonomy to take projects from the initial idea to final production, ensuring that our infrastructure remains scalable, reliable, and efficient.

A day in the life

• You will design and deliver robust, high-performance systems by balancing hands-on engineering with operational support, utilizing a mix of proprietary and open-source tools.
• You will champion automation by building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and production metrics that allow our teams to work smarter and more efficiently.
• You will collaborate closely with researchers and fellow engineers to deeply understand their needs, ensuring our platform infrastructure consistently meets the demands of our critical trading and research workloads.

Who you are

You are a seasoned engineer with a strong background in systems programming and software engineering. You have a proven track record of debugging and improving production services, and you are comfortable working in a Linux environment. We value candidates who bring experience with configuration management, infrastructure-as-code frameworks, and public cloud platforms, with a preference for AWS. You should possess a deep specialty in at least one area, such as Kubernetes, HPC, or CI/CD. You communicate clearly, work well within a close-knit team, and hold a degree in an engineering or applied sciences field, or have equivalent professional experience. Proficiency in English is required for this role.
