We are currently looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join our team in the Netherlands on a full-time, on-site basis to help us empower businesses with world-class shipping technology.

Key outcomes

• Maintain and enhance the stability of our infrastructure platform, which serves as the foundation for all our products.
• Provide our software engineering teams with the necessary tools and procedures to develop, deploy, and operate the Sendcloud system effectively.
• Lead initiatives focused on platform security, ensuring our infrastructure remains robust and compliant.
• Manage the lifecycle of containerized workloads with a specific emphasis on vulnerability scanning and proactive prevention.
• Design and implement code with a strong focus on observability within our production environment.
• Collaborate within the Platform organization to support our microservices architecture and highly scalable web applications.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience working as an Infrastructure, Cloud, or Platform Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of AWS and Kubernetes, particularly with EKS.
• Extensive experience using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
• Proficiency in managing release processes through CI/CD pipelines and version control using Git.
• Solid understanding of Linux and command-line operations.
• Experience with Helm, distributed systems, and authentication frameworks.
• A deep understanding of security principles, compliance requirements, and auditing processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• A collaborative mindset and a passion for sharing knowledge within a team.
