We are currently looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join our team in the Netherlands on a full-time, on-site basis to help us empower businesses with world-class shipping technology.
Key outcomes
- Maintain and enhance the stability of our infrastructure platform, which serves as the foundation for all our products.
- Provide our software engineering teams with the necessary tools and procedures to develop, deploy, and operate the Sendcloud system effectively.
- Lead initiatives focused on platform security, ensuring our infrastructure remains robust and compliant.
- Manage the lifecycle of containerized workloads with a specific emphasis on vulnerability scanning and proactive prevention.
- Design and implement code with a strong focus on observability within our production environment.
- Collaborate within the Platform organization to support our microservices architecture and highly scalable web applications.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience working as an Infrastructure, Cloud, or Platform Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of AWS and Kubernetes, particularly with EKS.
- Extensive experience using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
- Proficiency in managing release processes through CI/CD pipelines and version control using Git.
- Solid understanding of Linux and command-line operations.
- Experience with Helm, distributed systems, and authentication frameworks.
- A deep understanding of security principles, compliance requirements, and auditing processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- A collaborative mindset and a passion for sharing knowledge within a team.
