The opportunity

In this role, you will be a key contributor within our cross-functional engineering teams. You will take ownership of technical components and product capabilities, working in two-week Scrum sprints to deliver real value to our customers. We follow a you build it, you run it philosophy, meaning you will not just be writing code, but ensuring our services are resilient, scalable, and secure. You will play a vital role in maintaining our global cloud infrastructure while guiding your colleagues through the implementation of new technologies.

A day in the life

• You will design, implement, and maintain our cloud infrastructure on Azure, ensuring high availability and performance on a global scale.
• You will develop and refine scalable backend services using Java and Kotlin while continuously improving our architecture and CI/CD pipelines.
• You will collaborate with your team to share technical expertise, mentor peers, and contribute to our culture of continuous improvement through knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Who you are

You are a mid-level engineer with 3 to 5 years of professional experience who thrives in a collaborative, product-focused environment. You enjoy solving complex problems and taking initiative on technical topics. Your background includes:

• Strong proficiency in Java and experience with modern development practices.
• Deep technical knowledge of at least one public cloud provider, specifically Azure, and experience with cloud automation tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes.
• Experience working with data technologies such as PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and Kafka.
• Excellent communication skills in English and a desire to contribute to a diverse, global team.
