We operate with a culture defined by high integrity, grit, and a strong sense of team collaboration, and we are currently seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join our remote team and help us scale our mission-driven solutions.
Key outcomes
- Take technical ownership of various systems while actively participating in team planning and design discussions.
- Identify and resolve production issues by carefully assessing their impact on our infrastructure and service operations.
- Develop and implement resilient, high-quality technical solutions to complex problems.
- Review code and infrastructure changes contributed by other engineers to ensure they meet our standards for testability, efficiency, and accuracy.
- Drive continuous improvement in the overall design and quality of our platform.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of professional experience managing cloud-hosted infrastructure.
- Proven expertise working with both Azure and AWS environments.
- Strong proficiency in networking and security principles.
- Experience working with SQL Server.
- Practical knowledge of scripting languages, specifically PowerShell.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, with a preference for Terraform.
- A solid understanding of how to build and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance distributed systems.
- Experience setting up monitoring and alerting for web applications.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience building reliable systems capable of handling large transactional volumes.
- Familiarity with containerization and various DevOps tools.
- Experience working with complex, large-scale distributed data processing systems.
- A demonstrated passion for continuous learning and professional growth.
Compensation
The annual salary range for this position is $80,000 to $120,000 USD. In addition to competitive pay, we offer the benefit of a fully remote work environment, allowing you to contribute from anywhere.
