Platform Engineer at Dune

Dune is on a mission to make crypto data accessible to everyone. We operate as a collaborative, multi-chain analytics platform that empowers thousands of developers, investors, and analysts to explore the on-chain world and the frontiers of finance. With a team of approximately 60 people working across Europe and the eastern United States, we are backed by leading investors like Coatue and Union Square Ventures. We are currently looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join our full-time, remote team. In this role, you will take ownership of the complex systems that power our platform, focusing on thoughtful design and robust automation to help us scale.

Responsibilities

• Design, operate, and continuously enhance our cloud infrastructure through the use of infrastructure-as-code, monitoring, and observability tools.
• Manage our production Kubernetes environment while driving improvements in system reliability, performance, and scalability.
• Develop and maintain internal tooling, automation, and CI/CD pipelines to improve the overall developer experience and ensure secure, efficient deployments.

Requirements

• Proven experience in designing, operating, and optimizing cloud infrastructure in production environments, with a strong preference for AWS expertise.
• Practical, hands-on experience running Kubernetes in production, including a deep understanding of its operational trade-offs.
• A strong foundation in computer science principles and system design, paired with the ability to work autonomously in a remote, collaborative setting.
• A security-first mindset, where compliance and safety are integrated into your daily engineering workflow rather than treated as an afterthought.
• Excellent communication skills and a willingness to participate in on-call rotations to ensure the health of our systems.
