Physician: Medical Director for Medspas (Virginia) at Moxie

The role

We are looking for an experienced executive to join us as a Medical Director for our medspa operations in Virginia. This is a full-time, remote, 1099 contract position designed for a physician who wants to provide clinical oversight while maintaining professional autonomy. You will have the opportunity to interview and select the injectors you wish to partner with, allowing you to build a practice that aligns with your professional goals.

Core responsibilities

• Review and approve essential documentation, including standard operating procedures, patient consent forms, and medical charts.
• Serve as the point of contact for emergency situations.
• Maintain general supervision of aesthetic services in accordance with Virginia state law.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you must be a licensed MD or DO in the state of Virginia. We require candidates to have the following qualifications:

• Formal training in the administration of injectables and other aesthetic services.
• Proven experience in aesthetic medicine, either as a direct practitioner or in a collaborating physician capacity.
• Proficiency in English.
• Experience in fields such as Dermatology, Plastic Surgery, Ophthalmology, or Oculoplastic Surgery is considered a significant advantage.
