We are currently looking for a passionate Physician Assistant to join our distributed team across the United States in a full-time, remote capacity.
Key outcomes
- Deliver exceptional, holistic primary care through a combination of home-based, community, and virtual visits.
- Lead and participate in multi-disciplinary case conferences to develop and implement comprehensive clinical care plans.
- Advocate for patient goals by collaborating closely with external providers and community-based organizations.
- Conduct annual wellness visits and detailed patient assessments to address quality gaps and maintain accurate biopsychosocial health records.
- Provide clinical coverage for urgent needs and participate in a rotating call schedule.
- Maintain precise documentation within our electronic medical records and custom-built care platforms.
- Contribute to the growth of our team by assisting in the interviewing and training of fellow clinicians.
- Qualified candidates are eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus.
Requirements
- Current Physician Assistant license in the state of Michigan.
- NCCPA board certification.
- Active DEA Controlled Substance Registration or eligibility to apply.
- Active controlled substance license in the state of employment or eligibility to apply.
- Certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers.
- At least 3 years of clinical experience providing primary care in family medicine, internal medicine, or geriatric medicine.
- Strong judgment and independent clinical assessment skills for managing acute and non-acute problems.
- Proficiency with electronic medical record systems.
- A valid, unrestricted driver's license and access to an insured vehicle for daily travel.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in geriatrics, addiction medicine, palliative care, or adult internal medicine.
- Background in providing home-based care or working within value-based care organizations.
- Proven ability to engage individuals with symptomatic chronic mental illness or addiction.
- Previous experience working as part of a multidisciplinary care team.
- Possession of an X-waiver for buprenorphine prescribing.
