We're building tools that help emergency management teams respond faster and more effectively, and we're looking for an experienced developer to help shape the next phase of our web application.
What is this role?
This is a part-time, remote senior position for a PHP Laravel Engineer. The work is fully remote and open to candidates located anywhere in North America. You will join Reticent Media as a contractor on a 1099-MISC or W2 basis, contributing roughly 40 hours each week on an ongoing project.
What will you do?
- Develop new features for a web application built on the PHP stack with Laravel and AngularJS.
- Make key technology decisions that guide the direction of the codebase.
- Maintain and improve the existing application while meeting project deadlines with minimal supervision.
What makes you a great fit?
You bring senior-level experience with PHP, the Laravel framework, and AngularJS, along with a track record of working independently on web and mobile application projects. Strong written and spoken English is required so you can collaborate smoothly during scheduled meetings. We value self-starters who can manage their own time, stay available for regular project discussions, and deliver reliable results without daily oversight.
