What is this role?
We are looking for a Senior PHP Developer to join our team on a contractor basis. This is a hybrid role, and we are specifically looking for someone who can operate within the Europe/Prague time zone. You will be a key player in our backend systems, helping us maintain our high standards while building the future of our platform.
What will you do?
- Focus on the development and design of new, smart applications while refactoring existing backend systems.
- Contribute to our complex systems that utilize mathematical algorithms and genetic programming to deliver high-quality results.
- Collaborate on architectural improvements and explore advanced infrastructure topics like dynamic scaling, Google Cloud, Azure, Terraform, and Kubernetes.

To succeed in this position, you should have a strong technical background and a passion for clean, efficient code. We are looking for someone who brings the following skills and qualities:
- Deep proficiency in PHP 8.3 and experience with modern frameworks.
- A solid understanding of hexagonal architecture and Domain Driven Design.
- Strong SQL skills, specifically with MySQL or MariaDB, and a firm grasp of RESTful or GraphQL principles.
- Experience with Git for version control and the ability to configure Docker environments locally.
- A commitment to writing high-quality tests and applying sound code design principles.
- Fluency in English to communicate effectively with our diverse, global team.
