At umob we are building the first all-in-one mobility platform in the Netherlands. Our single app lets users locate, book and pay for shared scooters, bikes, public transport and taxi services without switching between multiple services. Founded by experienced entrepreneurs from Greenwheels, GO Sharing, KNAB bank and Lepaya, we combine deep mobility expertise with a clear ambition to become Europe’s leading Mobility-as-a-Service provider and to make urban travel simpler, safer and more sustainable.
Key outcomes
- Own the full user-acquisition funnel and deliver measurable growth in downloads, active users and completed rides.
- Design, launch and continuously optimise paid campaigns across search, social and video channels to lower customer-acquisition costs while improving conversion and retention.
- Plan and execute structured A/B tests and data analyses that turn insights into actionable product and marketing decisions.
- Translate performance results into clear reports and recommendations for the management team, ensuring marketing activities stay aligned with company objectives.
- Build brand presence so that umob becomes the default mobility app in users’ phones and maintains top-of-mind awareness in target cities.
Requirements
- Academic background combined with two to three years of hands-on experience in digital marketing, preferably within a performance-marketing agency or a fast-growing start-up.
- Proven track record in growth-marketing methodologies, including campaign planning, execution and optimisation for B2C mobile applications.
- Practical experience managing app-performance campaigns on Google Ads, Apple Search Ads, Meta Business Suite, TikTok Ads and YouTube.
- Familiarity with product-analytics tools and key B2C metrics such as active users, conversion rate, retention, referral, CAC and CLTV.
- Ability to create, manage and refine marketing content across every stage of the customer journey.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience running A/B tests and using data to guide decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Dutch and English to support local campaign execution.

- Curiosity about market trends in shared mobility and emerging social-media channels, with the ability to translate insights into product initiatives.
- Comfort working in a young, entrepreneurial team where strategy and hands-on campaign delivery go hand in hand.
- Enthusiasm for building a scalable platform that will serve millions of users across Europe.
Compensation
We offer a competitive salary package together with participation in our STAK equity plan. Additional benefits include 25 days of paid holiday, a pension contribution, daily healthy lunch, a home-office budget, commuter allowance for public transport, up to €50 per month of shared-mobility credit, and flexible hybrid working with three days per week at our Rotterdam headquarters.
